History

The lot in which the Park is set originally belonged to Mr. Francisco Ferber, who donated it to the Municipality of Lavalleja (department of Uruguay).

In 2003, the Municipality of Lavalleja, along with the Ministry of Tourism, set up a call for bids for the building of the restaurant.

In August 2004 the winning project was inaugurated, a building that is accessed through the roof, therefore respecting the topography of the place and allowing further enjoyment.
